- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming.
- Engage with caregivers to support the whole child.
- Serve as a leader in developing behavior support systems utilizing compassionate responses to student behaviors.
- Collaboratively support and supervise RBTs.
- Conduct functional and skills‑based assessments, then train and coach staff to confidently implement individualized support strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis and review meetings.
- BCBA certification and Connecticut Behavior Analyst license in good standing (or license‑eligible).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings.
- Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
