Shift: Monday
-Friday 11pm-7am

RN Supervisor Duties

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for assigned units
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies
• Make nursing and aide assignments based on resident needs and staff skill sets
• Review grievances or complaints from staff and report concerns to the Director of Nursing
• Ensure adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment is available
• Assist in the development of preliminary and comprehensive resident assessments
• Review nurses' notes to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and reflective of resident status
• Encourage and support staff participation in training and development
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing personnel
• Promote resident dignity, safety, and quality of care at all times

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings (LPN or RN)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Must meet all Connecticut licensure requirements with no active disciplinary actions
• Strong leadership, communication, and assessment skills
