We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Insurance Accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial analysis skills, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external customers or clients regarding financial matters, including billing inquiries, account reconciliations, and reporting needs.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial analysis and reporting.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations and financial decision‑making.
• Research and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Participate in system implementations and process improvement initiatives.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

• Experience in a multi‑national corporation or shared services environment.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
