Family Practice - OB Physician

A health organization in Middlesex County, CT is currently seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician for a promising opportunity at one of their outpatient facilities.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule:
  Monday-Friday standard business hours; no weekends
• Call: Light rotated telephone only call
• Setting: Outpatient community health

Responsibilities:

The Primary Care Physician will:

• Perform general health evaluations
• Review medical histories and test results
• Handle regular patient testing, including audiometry, vision screening, spirometry, electrocardiogram, cardiac stress tests, and laboratory results
• Work with support staff on further testing, patient follow-up, charting and reporting
• Examine client employment candidates for appropriate fitness, including pre-employment exams, and make appropriate dispositions regarding the patient meeting employment requirements
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree
• Active Connecticut Medical License
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
