Technical Project Manager

As Project Manager & Engineer you will design and coordinate the site production, construction and commissioning phases. You are responsible for meeting project objectives and cost management.

Tasks and responsibilities

Maintain/prepare interface between site infrastructure and operational requirements and equipment design and construction process

Manage contractors on site during preparation, construction, and commissioning phase

Plan and execute key phases of the preparation, construction and commissioning process

Confirm the handover of newly commissioned equipment has been appropriately conducted

Oversee construction and prepare "as-built" and "as-commissioned" documentation

Work with site engineering and operations teams throughout all the project phases, ensure appropriate handover and training

Perform post project assessment to evaluate the level of success to the original brief and need

Participate in HAZOP and design reviews

Engage in equipment design process

Maintain project timeline and budget estimates

Ensure standards and safety are maintained throughout all project interactions and delivery, acting as ambassadors for local site teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar (Civil/Mechanical) as a minimum

5 years minimum experience in delivering engineering projects

Experience of tracking and reporting budgets and timelines

Able to coordinate and work effectively with external contractors

Industrial safety knowledge and experience

Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills

Able to anticipate and solve problems related to projects

Business level Dutch and English language skills, verbal and written

Willingness to travel to project sites on regular basis

Project Management skills

Good attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Strong collaboration and team working skills

Desirable

Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standard

Experience and understanding of managing site related installation

Methodical approach for installation and fault finding

MS Project experience

Mandatory

Minimum Bachelor degree mechanical engineering or equivalent
