Location: Chadderton

We are currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join our reputable client who is based in Chadderton.

It’s a large organisation but you will be working in a team of 3 people, this company can offer great benefits and stability.

  • Position Title :
    Purchasing Administrator
  • Hours :
    Hours : flexible working hours earliest start 7 : 45am and latest finish 5 : 15pm

For example : 7 : 45 – 4pm or 8 : 30am - 5 : 15pm

  • Salary : upto £27,000
  • Start Date - ASAP

Key responsibilities :

  • Raising POs and ensuring Order acknowledgements are received in a timely manner
  • Contract reviewing Order Acknowledgement and flagging any discrepancies to the buyer.
  • Track order status and follow up on deliveries
  • Update ERP / MRP systems with order details
  • Reviewing planning reports and maintaining optimum inventory levels.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing files (digital and physical)
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activity and spending
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information, price lists and approval documentation.
  • Track KPIs such as delivery performance and cost savings
  • Quality control documentation
  • Administrative support to the Goods In warehouse Team
  • To work closely and communicate well with all internal departments.
  • Answer incoming calls and provide general administrative support as required.

Skills & Experience :

  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good multitasking skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Team player with ability to blend into an existing team seamlessly.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft skills.
  • The desire to develop and grow into an office-based role.
  • Previous experience working in a Purchasing team environment preferred but is not essential.
