Medical Secretary - Community Paediatric Services

Overview

The Community Paediatric Service is looking for an enthusiastic Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative support to the clinical team.

You will play a key role in contributing to the efficient running of the administration tasks to support the delivery of the service.

• To provide a comprehensive, professional audio/digital transcription and clinic administration service to support the clinical team.
• The Medical Secretary is expected to be aware of speciality typing requirements using their own initiative with guidance from the Medical Personal Assistants and/or Clinical Administration Supervisor where applicable.
• Will be required to work as part of a team with other Medical Secretaries and provide cross cover during periods of staff absences to include the Medical Personal Assistant.
