48-hour shifts + occasional 24-hour shifts (rota confirmed 6 months in advance)
🛌 Sleep-ins: 8–10 per month (essential)

About the RoleAs a Senior Residential Support Worker
, you’ll play a vital role in transforming lives. You'll:
- Deliver consistent, one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 5–17
- Support children in daily routines, education, and social activities — from appointments to UK trips and holidays abroad
- Be a positive role model, providing stability, safety, and emotional support
- Help create a nurturing environment where children feel heard and valued
- Maintain accurate records in line with care plans
- Work collaboratively with a close-knit team and experienced manager
- Be resilient through the highs and lows — and always ready to put the child first
- ✔️ At least 1 year’s experience in a children’s residential care setting
- ✔️ Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare
- ✔️ A full UK driving licence
- ✔️ Passion, empathy, and a strong sense of purpose
- ✔️ Commitment to building a career in therapeutic care — with support to gain your Level 5 Diploma and progress into management
