A client within the Public Sector
, based in Greater Manchester
, is currently recruiting for an NEC4 Site Supervisor to join their Highways & Engineering Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis
, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority highways / civil engineering environment
.
To provide professional NEC4 site supervision services across highways and infrastructure schemes, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual, quality, time, and cost requirements.
Key responsibilities- Delivering NEC3/NEC4 site supervision in compliance with contractual requirements and specifications
- Managing day‑to‑day site activities, record keeping, and monitoring construction programmes
- Supervising contractors, consultants, and other external stakeholders on site
- Coordinating with internal council services, third parties, and the public to ensure effective delivery
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, and council policies
