Wind search is proud to partner with a well-established contractor in the roofing, cladding, and envelope space, who are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Deisgner to strengthen their in-house capacity.

They're based in Oldham, and this is a key hire for the business as they continue to grow. They're taking on more technically demanding projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. They have a reputation for strong delivery, good attention to detail, and a solutions-led approach to design and construction.

The role itself

This is a senior, hands-on design role where you'll take the lead on cladding and façade design packages from concept through to delivery. You'll be working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to make sure designs are coordinated, buildable, and commercially viable.

You'll have real ownership here, not just producing drawings but influencing how projects are designed and delivered.

What you'll be doing

• Leading façade and cladding design packages across multiple projects
• Producing and reviewing detailed drawings and technical information
• Coordinating with project managers, site teams, and commercial teams
