Tutor, Special Needs ​/ Learning Disabilities, Teacher Assistant​/ Paraprofessional

Position: Tutor (Permanent)
Tutors – Oldham
QTS or QTLS Required

£25 - £35 per hour

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a range of schools and alternative provisions across Oldham, who are looking to appoint qualified Tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.

These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy targeted teaching, building strong relationships, and making a measurable impact on pupil progress outside of the traditional classroom environment.

The role will involve:

Delivering tailored tuition in core subjects (English, Maths and/or Science)

Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils

Supporting learners who may be disengaged, have SEND, SEMH needs, or are accessing alternative provision

Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs

Tracking progress and providing clear feedback

We are looking for Tutors who:

Hold QTS or QTLS (essential)

Have experience working with KS2, KS3 and/or KS4 pupils

Are confident adapting teaching approaches to suit different learning styles

Have strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

Can commit to regular, consistent sessions
