Why this role mattersAs Faculty Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Maths and English across the College. You will lead a passionate team of specialists, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that makes a real and lasting difference to learners’ lives.
What you will do- Lead and manage a team of Maths and English specialists, driving excellence in teaching, learning and assessment
- Shape curriculum delivery to meet learner and employer needs, ensuring flexibility, relevance and innovation
- Drive performance across attendance, achievement and progression
- Work closely with senior leaders to align provision with the College’s strategic priorities
- Champion quality through learning walks, feedback and sharing best practice
- Engage externally to support growth, partnerships and the profile of the faculty
- Proven experience of curriculum leadership and developing high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of Maths and/or English provision for diverse learners
- A passion for innovation and improving learner outcomes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confidence working in a target-driven environment
