Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom?

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Oldham is looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Officer to join their supportive team. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral structures, and commitment to ensuring every student feels valued and understood.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people. Experience supporting students with SEN is highly preferred, although not essential for the right person.

You would be:

  • Providing day-to-day pastoral support to students across the school
  • Working closely with the safeguarding and pastoral teams to identify and address barriers to learning
  • Assisting with behaviour management strategies and restorative conversations
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive school culture with high expectations
  • Supporting students with behaviour, attendance, and emotional well-being

You would be paid around £100-£110 per day depending on your experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
