Role Overview

Join the dynamic Oldham Lifelong Learning Service team and play a key role in shaping high-quality learning experiences for our community. As a vital member of the team, you’ll lead on the development, delivery, and monitoring of quality across curriculum programmes. You’ll ensure the service meets all accreditation and funding requirements, while supporting the implementation of policies, procedures, and effective advice and guidance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor quality across the service ensuring compliance and support staff to demonstrate and achieve exemplary practice.
  • Effectively analyse quality data, put in place quality actions and implement these to ensure compliance. Contribute to curriculum planning, the Self‑Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan across the service.
  • Contribute to the quality management of cross‑curricular staff, including identifying and planning staff development and training needs.
  • Plan, co‑ordinate and support relevant appropriate advice and guidance to learners to ensure learner engagement, achievement and progression that align to the Matrix standards.
  • Monitor and ensure that service standards are consistent with the requirements of GMCA, Ofsted and other relevant agencies assuring achievement of GMCA targets and full compliance of funding and accreditation rules.
Key Requirements
  • Analyse and interpret data and present it effectively to various audiences in respect of quality assurance and improvement processes, actions and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders. Experience in delivering high-quality advice and guidance and implementing IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance) systems.
  • Interpret, develop and implement assessment and accreditation procedures.
