Early Career Teacher – Day-to-Day & Short-Term Roles

Cover People are working with several supportive Primary and SEND schools across Oldham who are seeking qualified Early Career Teachers to take on day-to-day and short-term cover. If you are an ECT who has completed your training and are now ready to gain more classroom experience, this is the ideal opportunity to build confidence, develop behaviour management skills and experience a variety of school environments.

We can offer flexible roles that support your professional growth, including:

• Day-to-day supply teaching

• Short-term cover placements (from a few days to several weeks)

• Experience across different year groups, curriculum areas and school settings

• Opportunities to progress into longer-term and permanent roles once ready

Essential Criteria

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Completed teacher training

• Confidence teaching across a primary curriculum

• Adaptable, reliable and proactive approach

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
