We are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in a busy mainstream secondary school in Oldham. This role is ideal for candidates with solid classroom experience who can confidently deliver pre‑planned lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils in the teacher's absence. This is not a tutoring or primary role.

• Recent experience working with secondary‑age pupils (11‑16) in a UK school setting
• Confident managing a classroom independently and following school behaviour policies
• Ability to deliver pre‑planned work across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required)
• Strong behaviour management and presence in the classroom

• Experience as a Cover Supervisor, Secondary TA, Instructor, or Secondary HLTA
• Degree (or equivalent) or Level 3 qualification in education/childcare

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absence, using pre‑prepared lesson plans
• Maintaining a calm, focused learning environment and following school behaviour procedures
• Taking registers, giving instructions, and ensuring work is completed
• Supporting pupils with questions and keeping them on task
