Oldham College is seeking an ambitious and visionary Programme Leader to lead our Travel and Tourism provision within our dynamic Retail and Commercial Faculty.

About the Role

As Programme Leader, you will take the reins of our Travel and Tourism curriculum—providing strategic leadership, overseeing operational excellence, and ensuring our learners are prepared for exciting careers in a global industry.

You will:

  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated tutors and support staff.
  • Champion high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Oversee curriculum planning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong industry and community links to support growth and learner progression.
  • Drive outreach, engagement, and learner recruitment activities.

What You’ll Need:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and relevant occupational qualifications (essential).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing Travel and Tourism education programmes.
  • A deep understanding of curriculum development, learner needs, and industry expectations.
  • A passion for innovation, learner achievement, and continuous improvement.
  • An assessors/IQA qualification (desirable).
