Geography Teacher

New Directions are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher to work in a Secondary school based in Oldham. The role is starting ASAP on a full time, long term basis until the end of the academic year.

• Mainstream secondary school based in Oldham
• Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ the school is recognised for its strong leadership, high-quality teaching, and commitment to pupil development.
• Supportive and pro-active senior leadership team

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
• Support the school’s vision and values, and foster a positive learning environment

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS (or QTLS)
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Manage behaviour
• Build relationships with students
