Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Headteacher based in Oldham. As a Deputy Headteacher, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality education, lead curriculum planning, and ensure the well‑being of students and staff. Responsibilities also include supporting staff professional development, fostering a positive school environment, and working closely with the leadership team to implement and uphold the school’s vision.
Additionally, you will support the creation and delivery of personalised education programmes tailored to student needs, while maintaining a culture of inclusivity and support.
- Proven experience in educational leadership and school operations management
- Ability to develop and implement tailored curriculum plans and support programs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe school environment for all learners
- Understanding of pastoral care and supporting the holistic development of learners
- Ability to handle administrative duties and manage school improvement initiatives
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or related field
- Familiarity with special educational needs (SEN) frameworks and inclusive education practices is a plus
