Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Permanent, Part Time (32.5 hours per week), Term Time (39 weeks per year). To commence 1st September 2026.

Salary: Pro rata of points 7 - 11 of the Support Pay Spine for schools (£26,403 - £28,142) currently £20,449 - £21,795 per annum

The role will require working under the guidance of teachers and/or Senior Leaders to undertake work, care and support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area under the guidance of teaching staff and/or Senior Leaders.

• Support teaching and learning activities under the guidance of teachers.
• Assist in the management of students and the classroom.
• Carry out work, care and support programmes to support pupil access to learning.
• Work within the classroom or outside the main teaching area under Senior Leaders’ guidance.

Level 2 qualification in a relevant field or experience working with young children. Eager to learn and develop as a teaching assistant.
