Learning Support Assistant Level 3
Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 12 17)

Hours: 32.5 per week (term time plus 5 days)
Based at: Propps Hall Primary School

This post will commence: 1st September 2026

This post is fixed term and linked to the provision required to support pupils with additional needs currently on roll at the school

We are seeking to appoint a positive, self-motivated Learning Support Assistant who will join our team within The Ivory Federation.

The successful candidate will work closely with children with additional needs across EYFS and Key Stage 1 and therefore must have a strong understanding of child development, inclusive practice and early learning expectation.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Is positive and self-motivated.
  • Has experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly within EYFS and KS1, and holds a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Teaching Support.
  • Has a secure understanding of the EYFS framework, early language development and KS1 expectations in phonics, communication and early maths.
  • Can adapt learning, communication and routines to meet a range of SEND needs.
  • Is professional, has a positive attitude and is supportive of their colleagues.
  • Has high expectations for all children and is committed to developing their full potential.
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
