Sports Coach

Aspire People are looking for a Sports Coach for a role in Oldham, Greater Manchester, within a primary school. The school is looking for an experienced sports coach to spend 50% of their time working with children in the classroom and the other 50% delivering sports/PE. The school caters for students aged 5 - 11 and has a high percentage of children with SEND, predominantly those on the autism spectrum, with many students displaying challenging behaviours.

The school is Ofsted judged "Outstanding" and has excellent facilities on site. The role requires you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis when not delivering PE, and you will be expected to coach students in a range of sports during the rest of the time. You will work with students who have additional needs, some of whom will display challenging behaviours.

The candidate must be available full-time and able to work from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Experience working with children is required, and a background in sports coaching is ideal. The candidate must be confident, hard-working, and empathetic.
