Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a full‑time Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in the Oldham area. This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training and looking to gain paid experience in a classroom setting, or experienced teaching assistants. You will be supported by a strong cover team and teaching staff throughout the academic year.

• Minimum Pay: £163 – £232 a day

• Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Work flexibly across different departments
• Build strong relationships with staff and students

• Recent graduate (2:2 degree or above)
• Previous experience working with young people or in a school environment
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (can be provided)

• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Two professional, child‑related references

• Free accredited CPD courses (e.g., safeguarding, behaviour management)
• Access to an in‑house training and development team
• Ongoing support from experienced education consultants
