About the RoleSt Martin’s CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring practitioner to teach in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and contribute to our nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, committed to high standards, and able to support all pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Plan, deliver and assess high-quality teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Set high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and achievement.
- Use effective assessment strategies to inform planning and next steps in learning.
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school policy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants, to maximise outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and progress.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Has a good understanding and experience of SEND;
- Has the ability to work as part of a team and to inspire and support others and form excellent relationships;
- Uphold the Christian ethos and values of St Martin’s CE Primary School.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong understanding of KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
- High expectations for all pupils.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
