- £130 - £230 per day, Benefits: PAYE pay, weekly pay, paid to scale
The Education Specialists (TES)are a recruitment business, recruiting on behalf of a school in Oldham for a Qualified Primary Teacher to teach in a Year 1 class for the next academic year.
Roles & Responsibilities- Planning and delivering of engaging lessons.
- Being willing and able to work with KS1 pupils, managing behaviour in line with school policies.
- Delivering engaging and interesting lessons in line with the current National Curriculum.
- Ensuring all marking is completed and hand over notes are left.
- Engaging with the pupils and keeping them on task, assisting with queries where possible.
- Dealing with any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school policies and procedures.
- Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status, have experience teaching in UK primary schools and be able to fully commit to the post.
- All applicants will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure registered with the online update service or be willing to purchase a new one.
- The school will consider ECT's.
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who has high expectations of children and their learning.
- Has knowledge of effective strategies to raise attainment and progress & can work well as part of a team.
- Is creative and constantly looking for ways to engage and inspire children.
- Has good organisational and classroom management skills.
- This role commences as soon a suitable applicant is recruited.
- This role is full time, Mon – Fri but a part-time option will be considered.
- Successful candidates will be subject to safeguarding and vetting checks.
