About the roleAn exciting opportunity to join the team at Oasis Academy Oldham. Oasis Academy Oldham is a large co-educational school that admits students from Year 7 through to Year 11. The Academy has been adapted to accommodate disabled pupils. All major entrances/exits are wheelchair-friendly and there are a number of toilets designated and adapted for disabled student use within the academy building.
Responsibilities- Provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Principal.
- Act as the Principal's first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Filter information and support the Principal in making efficient use of their time.
- Ensure the Principal meets all deadlines requested by the regional and national OCL teams, the Local Authority, the DfE, and other regulators.
- Support the Principal in carrying out strategic and operational duties efficiently, resulting in outstanding leadership and management of the academy.

- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Fluent spoken English – essential requirement under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; readiness to undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills; ability to filter information and support senior management.
- Experience in a school or similar environment preferred.
