Cover Supervisor

Overview

We are currently supporting a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Oldham who are looking to appoint reliable and confident Cover Supervisors on both full‑time and part‑time bases. These opportunities offer the chance to work in supportive school settings where strong behaviour policies are in place and where staff are genuinely valued.

• Deliver pre‑set work.
• Keep students on task.
• Maintain a calm and focused learning environment.
• Manage classroom in the absence of a teacher.
• Support pupils’ learning and maintain behaviour policies.

• Appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Resilience and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (full assistance provided).
• Prepared to undertake or have undertaken child protection and prevent duty training.

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
