We are seeking experienced and dedicated QTS SEN Tutors to join our growing team in Oldham from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through personalised, one-to-one tuition.

The role offers excellent flexibility, with sessions delivered during school hours only (between 9:00am and 3:00pm). Tutors typically work around 20 hours per week, although additional hours may be available depending on your availability and the needs of our learners.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and personalised one-to-one tuition sessions.
Support pupils with a range of SEND needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, and learning difficulties.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning styles and educational needs.
Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement, and progress.
Assess learning needs and plan tailored sessions to support academic development.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback where required.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies.
Ability to build positive and supportive relationships with learners.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
Access to a vehicle is desirable due to the nature of the role.

Desirable Experience
Experience delivering one-to-one tuition.
Knowledge of EHCPs and supporting pupils working below age-related expectations.
Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, EBSA, or other additional needs.
