THE ROLE We are seeking a committed Marketing & Events Coordinator to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities. The Marketing & Events Coordinator will design, plan and deliver a coordinated annual programme of innovation engagement events across Greater Manchester, working in partnership with GM Colleges and colleagues from the Innovation Connector Network and Innovation Literacy Programmes. The Marketing & Events Coordinator will promote the events to local businesses and relevant stakeholders, utilising a range of appropriate channels.

The role will also include regular programme updates to raise awareness of GMFEIP activity and further enhance business engagement activities across GM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will:
Develop and coordinate an annual GM-wide innovation events calendar aligned to programme objectives, GMCA KPI targets and local College schedules. Work collaboratively to plan and deliver a programme of borough-based business events Identify, secure and manage venues across partner Colleges and external locations. Liaise with keynote speakers, ecosystem partners and subject matter experts. Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).

Proven experience of planning and delivering professional events from concept to completion. Experience coordinating events across different locations. Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience in using graphic design software, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
