Elevate Beyond works with specialist schools throughout Greater Manchester to recruit Learning Support Assistants who are passionate about helping children and young people reach their potential.
The settings You'll be supporting learners within:
- Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) These settings provide highly personalised education for pupils whose needs cannot always be met within mainstream schools.
You'll work with children and young people aged 5-19, supporting learners with autism, SEMH, ADHD, communication needs, learning disabilities and complex additional needs.
Your role No two days are ever the same.
You could be:
- Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis
- Delivering small group interventions
- Supporting communication and independence
- Working alongside experienced specialist teachers Relationships are central to every setting we support.
The successful candidate will be patient, resilient and genuinely committed to helping vulnerable young people succeed.

- Part-time or full-time hours Pay £13-15 per hour £ per day Areas covered Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside and Wigan.
Requirements Applicants will need:
- At least one year's experience working with children with SEND, SEMH or autism
- Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List
- DBS Update Service registration
- Level 2 Safeguarding
- Two professional references
- Right to work within the UK Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but practical experience is equally valued.
Previous experience supporting pupils with EHCPs would be highly desirable.
