Job Title: Plumbing and Gas Lecturer
Location: Bolton College
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (Temp to Perm and Agency Options Available)
Salary: £31,200 - £34,715 per annum, with potential Market Forces Enhancement increasing salary up to £43,656
Start Date: September 2026

Bolton College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Plumbing and Gas Lecturer to join our successful Construction team.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging theory and practical teaching across Plumbing and Gas programmes, supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for successful careers within the building services industry. You will play a key role in preparing learners for both assessment and employment, ensuring they are equipped with the technical and professional standards expected by employers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Plumbing and Gas programmes
- Design and deliver engaging classroom and practical workshop sessions that meet awarding body requirements and industry expectations
- Support learners to achieve their qualifications and progress into apprenticeships, further study, or employment
- Create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and motivating learning environment
- Promote high standards of health and safety within workshop settings
- Level 3 Plumbing qualification or equivalent industry-recognised qualification within Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- Relevant industry experience within Plumbing, Heating, Gas Engineering, or Building Services
