Flexible Cover Supervisor

We’re looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a number of secondary schools in Rochdale and Oldham from September.

This is a flexible opportunity where you can choose the type of work that suits you. Whether you’re looking for regular full‑time work, a few days a week or something more flexible around your availability, we can look at schools and placements based on your interests, experience and preferred location
.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre‑planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their work in the absence of their usual teacher.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school
• Is confident managing a classroom independently
• Can work across KS3 and KS4
• Has strong behaviour management skills
• Is reliable, adaptable and confident working in different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
