We’re currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a supportive Secondary School in Oldham on a long-term basis. This role is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons as an English Teacher across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Adapting resources and teaching strategies to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND
Working alongside the department to plan, mark, and assess student progress in line with the curriculum
Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom environment in Oldham where every student feels valued and motivated to achieve
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
Proven experience as an English Teacher delivering English Language and Literature within a UK secondary setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a patient and adaptable approach
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of learning across the school in Oldham
Daily Rate: £150 – £220 per day (paid within the advertised scale based on experience and qualifications)

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
