We're currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a supportive Secondary School in Oldham on a long-term basis. This role is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons as an English Teacher across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

• Adapting resources and teaching strategies to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND

• Working alongside the department to plan, mark, and assess student progress in line with the curriculum

• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom environment in Oldham where every student feels valued and motivated to achieve

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification

• Proven experience as an English Teacher delivering English Language and Literature within a UK secondary setting

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a patient and adaptable approach

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of learning across the school in Oldham

• Daily Rate: £150 - £220 per day (paid within the advertised scale based on experience and qualifications)
