Engage Education are working with multiple secondary school SEN departments in the Oldham area who are eager to secure fantastic Apprentice Teaching Assistants to provide outstanding 1:1 and small group SEN support to children with complex learning difficulties. • Conducting specifically tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN
• Creating warm and inspiring atmosphere for children throughout the school day
• Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students
• Communicating with colleagues and reporting to the school SENCO
• Located in one Oldham secondary school for the full academic year

• Paid £60 – £75 per day during term time
• Paid throughout the holiday periods
• Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027
• Free online CPD courses across an array of subjects
• Guaranteed TA qualification pending completion of an 11-month course
• Option to join the school permanently pending course completion

• Experience supporting children in any capacity
• 2026 graduates desirable – Any subject
• Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching
• Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but not mandatory
• Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
