Teacher Active is proud to be working with a Good OFSTED-rated secondary school based in Oldham, who are looking to appoint a dedicated English Teacher. The school provides a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop a passion for learning.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic English Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour.

The successful English Teacher will have:

QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4

Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

A positive, adaptable attitude and strong communication skills
