As the Year 4 Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, creating a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils to make good progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

• Teaching core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.

• Taking responsibility for the progress, attainment and wellbeing of pupils in your class.

• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.

• Using effective classroom and behaviour management strategies.

• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary.

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

You will be working in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oldham, where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.

To be successful in this Year 4 Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.

• Previous Key Stage 2 teaching experience, ideally in Year 4.

• A good understanding of the National Curriculum.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• The ability to plan, deliver and assess effective lessons.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
