Due to progressive growth, an opportunity has become available for a 3D CAD Post Graduate to join our team. In this strategically important and challenging role you will be required to:

• Manage complete design projects to strict deadlines and project cost parameters.
• Design individual components, create functional sub-assemblies, and complete fully working product models for our market leading, new and existing hardware ranges.
• Produce high quality manufacturing drawings and all associated technical documents.
• Liaise with customers, site engineers and internal departments.
• Potential off-site visits may also be involved.
• Single shift pattern, Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1630 and Friday 0800 - 1530

The successful candidate will already understand the processes involved in high-quality, high-volume manufacturing. Applicants should therefore possess the following attributes:

• ONC, HNC or Degree qualification in mechanical engineering and/or product design.
• Well versed in manufacturing processes such as casting, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and finishing.
• Proficient with AutoCAD / Inventor / Vault software platforms and have good general telephone and computer skills.
• Experienced in working to strict project deadlines and within agreed project cost parameters.
• Focused on delivering market leading product quality, performance, and reliability.
• Team player with good communication skills and a "Can Do" attitude.
• Must be smart and well presented.
• You will be naturally results focused, enthusiastic, reliable, trustworthy and have a strong work ethic.
• Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks and be responsive to changing demands and situations.
