An excellent opportunity has become available for a skilled Facilities Engineer to join a modern, highly automated industrial manufacturing site. Following significant investment and continued expansion, the business is seeking a proactive engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of site facilities, utilities, and building services within a fast‑paced production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repair work across a wide range of facilities and site service equipment while ensuring full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.

Industrial Manufacturing / Facilities Maintenance

• Previous facilities maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands‑on experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance on building services and site facilities equipment.
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work within an industrial environment.

• Strong fault‑finding and maintenance skills.
• Experience maintaining industrial facilities, utilities, and building services equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and reactive maintenance activities.
• Ability to work independently within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Experience working within the UK manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, water systems, and site utilities.
• Experience with facilities compliance, statutory inspections, and contractor management.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on site facilities and utility systems.
• Maintain building services equipment including HVAC systems, compressors, pumps, lighting, extraction systems, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime across site infrastructure and services.
• Support maintenance of utilities including compressed air, water systems, heating, ventilation, and factory services.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure all facilities equipment remains compliant and operational.
• Assist with contractor supervision and ensure all external works are completed safely and to required standards.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in line with health & safety legislation and company policies.
