Equipment Engineer urgently required for a global leading semiconductor manufacturing company, based in Oldham, Manchester. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and improving semiconductor wafer processing equipment.
Shift PatternShift pattern is 4 on / 4 off 12‑hour Continental, requiring readiness for day and night shifts in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain, repair and enhance semiconductor wafer processing equipment.
- Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and manage breakdowns.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and conduct risk assessments.
- Previous experience working directly in the semiconductor sector.
- Strong background in Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
- Minimum HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Ability to fault‑find to electronic component level.
