We’re recruiting for a growing not-for-profit organisation in the care sector, supporting individuals to live lives they truly value. We’re looking for a Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partner to help build a sustainable future while keeping people at the heart of every decision.
The Role
As a hands-on Finance Analyst and trusted Business Partner, you’ll provide robust financial insight across complex social care contracts. Working closely with operational leaders and commissioning bodies, you’ll ensure sustainable pricing, protect margins, and support high-quality, compliant service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Analysis, Pricing & Margin Management
Review new and existing Local Authority contracts
Build and maintain pricing and cost models
Analyse profitability at service and individual placement level
Support tender submissions, fee reviews and contract negotiations
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising care quality
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support
Act as a trusted advisor to Regional and Operational Directors
Partner with teams across Operations, HR, Procurement and Quality
Provide clear financial insight into contract viability and service planning
Support transparent engagement with commissioners and external stakeholders
Forecasting, Budgeting & Financial Planning
Support annual budgeting and medium-term financial planning
Deliver variance analysis and insightful reporting
Highlight risks linked to funding, inflation and commissioning changes
Governance & Assurance
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal policies
Contribute to continuous improvement in pricing and financial processes
About You
You will ideally be a qualified accountant or working towards qualification, with substantial finance experience within a commercial or contract-led environment.
You will be confident building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You’ll combine strong analytical ability with a collaborative, values-led approach, and you’ll be motivated by supporting care services that truly matter.
