We’re working with a growing business looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team. It’s a varied role where you’ll get involved in different areas of accounts, build on your existing experience and continue developing your skills.
What you’ll be doing
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Managing purchase and sales ledger transactions
* Processing payments and keeping financial records up to date
* Completing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Helping with month-end processes
* Preparing and organising financial information
* Using Excel and accounting systems
* Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks
* Assisting with payroll
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or in a similar role
* A good understanding of general accounting processes
* Confident using Excel and accounting systems
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Someone who enjoys being part of a team and is keen to learn
