Overview
Local authority in Greater Manchester requires a senior building control officer for an initial period of 8 months (likely to be longer).
Responsibilities- Carry out the Building Control function in the Borough.
- Ensure that work on site and on submitted plans satisfy the Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Based on validated competence, examine domestic applications and plans and undertake inspections of building work to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations and other associated legislation.
- Provide professional and technical advice to customers on pre-application submissions within the limits of competence.
- £65 - £75 per hour
- Inside IR35
- 35 hours per week
- Hybrid working
- Initially 8 months
