Overview

The Band 7 Dietitian is responsible for providing dietetic support to adult, older adult, high support and rehabilitation patients in our mental health inpatient services in Bury, Rochdale and Oldham.

This is a fixed term post to provide cover for maternity leave.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients, offering therapeutic dietary advice and education to a range of patients within inpatient services.
  • Provide specialist nutritional and dietetic advice to medical, health care professionals and other agencies.
  • Contribute to the nutrition and dietetic service as a whole through participation in service development.
  • Training for staff and patients to improve service delivery.
