Position: Occupational Health Advisor Part Time 2 days

Occupational Health Advisor – Oldham

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Salary: £46,500 – £49,000 FTE
Working Pattern: Minimum 2 days onsite + additional remote case management days available
Sector: Manufacturing

OH Medical is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a forward‑thinking Occupational Health provider supporting a manufacturing client in Oldham. This role offers a great balance of onsite clinical work and remote case management, making it ideal for an OHA looking for variety and flexibility.

You will deliver a full Occupational Health remit, working closely with managers and employees to support workplace health, wellbeing and fitness for work.

The Occupational Health Advisor Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Case management and sickness absence management
  • Fitness for work assessments and management referrals
  • Health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments and HAVS Tier 1 & 2 (Tier 3 desirable)
  • Pre‑employment medicals and questionnaires
  • Health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
  • Providing clear, evidence‑based workplace advice
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and reports

You will work both onsite (and remotely if additional days are desired), supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team.

Requirements for the Occupational Health Advisor
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Occupational Health qualification (RGN + OH qualification or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Occupational Health experience
  • Experience delivering the full OH remit
  • Up‑to‑date audiometry and spirometry certificates / training
  • Confident communicator with strong IT skills
  • Experience working directly with clients on‑site
  • High standard of clinical documentation
  • Satisfactory DBS, references and right to work in the UK
  • Ability to attend client site in Oldham
