Mobile Maintenance Assistant

• Reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
• To undertake any allocated jobs as directed by Maintenance Manager, in line with requests sent via PDA/mobile devices.
• To respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns and ensure all associated paperwork is completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner.
• To carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms.
• Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning activity across the estate.
• Responsible for ensuring cleaning materials and chemicals are available at all sites.
• Required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self‑development purposes.
• Work a permanent full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with a one‑hour unpaid lunch break and participation in an on‑call rota (1 in 8, including weekends).

• Experience in a maintenance role; experience of PPM completion is desirable.
• Good customer care and people skills.
• Ability to work well in a team or unsupervised.
• Basic fit‑out handyperson skills.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Full valid UK driving licence (required to travel between sites across Greater Manchester).
• Requirement to achieve and retain relevant GMP vetting clearance.
