Panel Beater

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established vehicle repair centre in Oldham for the position of a Panel Beater. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Panel Beaters or multi-skilled technicians to join a reputable and growing business that values quality workmanship and staff development. Salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday working hours, 7am to 4.30pm

Duties of a Panel Beater:

Repair and replace panels on a variety of vehicles, including HGVs, vans, and cars
Carry out welding and light fabrication work as required
Perform bodywork repairs, including filling and finishing
Assess vehicle damage and determine effective repair strategies
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality targets
Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop

Requirements of a Panel Beater:

Proven experience as a Panel Beater or multi-skilled technician within vehicle repair or accident repair centres
Welding experience is highly advantageous
Knowledge of body repair tools and techniques
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Relevant qualifications such as ATA, NVQ are desirable; support is available to update or obtain certifications
Practical experience working on HGVs, vans, and cars
A good understanding of health and safety standards in the workshop environment
