Injection Moulding Setter

Location: Chadderton

Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of plastic products is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter / Technician to join their expanding team. This is a key role, focused on maintaining production output while consistently delivering high-quality standards.

The business has enjoyed year-on-year growth and has recently invested in state-of-the-art machinery alongside a site expansion, making this an exciting time to join.

Salary:
Up to £37,000 | Monday to Friday

As an Injection Moulding Setter / Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out tool changes, as well as material and colour changes
Setting machine conditions to optimise performance
Ensuring all robotics and ancillary equipment are fully operational
Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and waste reduction
Troubleshooting moulding processes and implementing corrective actions, with documentation where required

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or Technician
Be confident with condition setting and knowledgeable across a range of materials
Have hands-on experience troubleshooting moulding issues
Demonstrate a strong interest in lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement, with a desire to help drive the business forward
