I am currently working with a well established and growing manufacturing business based in Oldham that is looking to strengthen its fabrication team with the addition of an experienced Welder / Fabricator.

Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator- TIG welding on a variety of components and assemblies
- Fabricating products from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Working with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel materials
- Sheet metal fabrication and assembly work
- Using fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Working to quality standards and production deadlines
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining a clean working area
- Over 2 years' experience in welding and fabrication
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience working with fabrication equipment and machinery
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
- Experience working to quality standards and deadlines
- Experience working to strict site health and safety standards
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 4 day working week
