Production Planner / Works Co-ordinator
Salary: 45-60K depending on skills and experience

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner / Works Co-ordinator to join our busy manufacturing operation. This is a key role within the business, responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing customer expectations, and ensuring the smooth flow of work through the factory.
The successful candidate will come from a fast-paced, reactive manufacturing environment and will be highly organised, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure customer delivery requirements are met
* Manage and maintain the ERP system, ensuring all production data is accurate and up to date
* Liaise with customers regarding order progress, lead times, and delivery expectations
* Coordinate workloads across departments to maximise efficiency and productivity
* Monitor production capacity and proactively address potential bottlenecks
* Manage and prioritise incoming emails, customer requests, and daily production demands
* Produce and maintain reports using Excel and ERP systems
* Work closely with production, purchasing, sales, and management teams
* Ensure all works orders, schedules, and documentation are accurate and completed on time
* React quickly and effectively to changing customer requirements and production demands
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience within a Production Planner, Works Co-ordinator, Manufacturing Planner, or similar role
* Strong experience working within a reactive manufacturing environment
* Full ERP system management experience
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
* Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
* Reliable, professional, and dependable
